HMG BASELINE PERSONNEL SECURITY STANDARD (BPSS)
Some of our contracts are working with government departments and are required to ensure that any personnel employed/engaged by us to work in their offices or on their systems, comply with the Baseline Personnel Security Standard before they take up their post. The Baseline Personnel Security Standard (or ‘BPSS’) is pre-employment controls for all government contractors and is the minimum level of security clearance for all contractors and forms the basis of higher levels of clearances that may be required. This standard involves verification of identity; nationality and immigration status; employment history (past 3 years) and criminal record checks. JTL are serious about Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment in Education.
